Outfit Confession..--Today I am wearing..

Like I shared in my last post Graphic tartans are back this Fall..  Today I planned to wear a Shirt wid a Tank-top .. Shirt's collars are folded  in a way to give it a look of a blazer.. (for early morning classes u need sumthing warm n Comfortable.. after all its Delhi winters..) To add color it this look i used a Pink color Tank top n pink flat Ballerinas(my most fav) and a belt to stop the collar from folding and to define the waist.. n a Vintage Bag .. That matches wid the belt.. not making it odd..!! i kept it simple.. didn't accessorize it much  coz I was dressing up for my classes. odawise wud have been wearing a watch n my fav studs atleast..

I generally prefer no-makeup look for college..but i always wear my lip balm..(VOV , Body shop or Fab-India..) n a moisturizer atleast..

Thats it.. for the day Divas.. see you soon..

Confession of the Day..Graphic Tartan

                             Graphic Tartan
Dress it up..  Pant it down.. or just The Chic Poncho ..!!

Plaids and tartans went big and bold this fall, with designers finding more inspiration from in-your-face rustic weaves than the understated checks of seasons past..

I absolutely love how Kim K has used the same digital print in the dress n the Poncho..( perfect  the escape the chill.. )
The print being different does not make tartans obvious.. but quite Chic  and classy in d dress..which is so Kim.. & the Poncho is my personal favorite ..already looking so warm n chic at the same time..

If opting for Plaids n tartans make sure you sport it a lilall different than usual this time..be it in a different print ..of skirt..dress..pant or Poncho..

So.. this was a quick fashion update.. made real quick.. as m short of time..  submissions n assignments..keeping me busy ....
Thats it for the day Fshionistas..
 &
till my next post.. like I always say..Do it as..

Confession of the Day..A quick sneak peak into This Fall's hit trends....

1) Minus the Perfect pair of shades worn by the Kardashian Clan.. I really like the poncho Kim is wearing..!! Poncho have come back with a bang.. n are here to stay this fall..Retro yet stylish.. Boho but Chic at the same time..a must have piece of clothing.. just sport it over any sweater or warmer.. n glam it up wid  perfect accessories..!! n u are ready to rock.. *_^

2) Black blazer is all u need  .. perfect for almost every occasion.. wear it over a dress or pants or over a casual denim n Tee.. just like Pipa...
she wears it for shopping.. and also for a day at work..in the pics below she is seen sporting the same blazer but at different occasions..!!

 3) The Tuxedo Look..with a feminine touch..is a must try.. Black n white is the way to go.. with RED lips n that outfit u are ready to Rule ..!!

4)Colored Pants .. in different colors is also a trend that is making its way in the fashion scene real strong.. already a Hit among the celebs ..!! make sure you atleast have one of these ..!!

5) Channel your inner Shaft with coats that reach all the way to the floor. These Duster Coats look impossibly glam, especially when paired with the textured, filmy separates shown on the runway.

6)  From Tron-like athletic Stripes to horizontal Hamburglar patterns, the stripes in the fall collections with bold and graphic.

So.. thats about it Fashionistas.. many more Confessionz to come about fall fashion.. beauty .. hair n skin care.. stay tunned.... been busy with exhibitions but soon gonna unveil my Jewelry Label.."Shaily From Delhi" -by Shaily Khera ..

Confession of the Day-style tip-"How to get that Gypsy Look.."

                                 I had a Boho Day.. ;)

That's what i wore to College today..

{I am wearing-- [ Top- "Shaily From Delhi-by Shaily Khera" ] [ Skirt-from my own closet/gifted..i don't remember..] [ Belt- Dilli Haat] [ Bag-sum stall, Kamla Nagar mrkt, Banglow Road][ Footwear- Stelatoes ] [jewelery- stupid cupid.., sum stall GK...] [shades- Ray Ban]}

Getting this look is easy.. m sure all of you have that one Maxi skirt u bought ages back.. n don't want to wear.. well take it out of that Closet.. n wear it high on your waist wid a full sleeve T-shirt ..( like i did..) or  a lose cotton tunic or top..wid balloon sleeve..( that adds the Boho element..) .. a beaded belt or a scarf for color blocking on your waist.. and team it up wid a nice jhola bag n Kolahpuris or Gladiators.. n to finish d look.. keep your hair messy or braided.. wear all the chunk that u have.. but don't over accessories ..

Here I am wearing everything that a wanted to scrap or give away once .. like that skirt.. which was laying in my Closet for over 6 years.. doing nothing.. So, u can also create this look.. all u have to do is look inside your closet ....

I am a Gypsy at heart.. Living away from Delhi for sumtym.. n traveling sure has evolved me into one..

My personal style is Boho.. not because i want to look artistic or gypsy or whatever.. but because there has always been some a Gypsy element in my sense of style..

Also because..it has sum element of history.. that always attracts Me.. The Clothes are colorful.. comfortable.. and is mixture of various ethnic clothing styles..as well as historical costumes..

Bohemian style consists of loose, colorful clothing and has appeared as boho chic, hippie style, and Aesthetic dress. With their long flowing hair and rich, though threadbare fabrics, bohemians stand out in a crowd representing a colorful counterculture based on creativity, poverty, and an indifference to social structures and traditions..

Thats it for the day my dear Fashionistas..
&   till my next post do nit as..
Coco Chanel.." I don't do fashion, I am Fashion.."

Confession of the Day -A Fashion Tip - Trick them with that perfect dress.. *_^

      At my College Fashion Show!!

M wearing--l Dress- Delhi to London, Kamla Nagar l shoes-nude wedges from Neutralizerl Watch- Aldo l Jewellery- Silver studs , Handicraft store,Sun n Sand, Mumbai..,Silver rings-my own collection..l makeup- Inglot l

This look fetched lot of compliments that day.. who sayz u need to be size -zero to wear dresses .. All you need to know is what silhouette suits ur body-type the best .. rite cuts , silhouettes and colors does the magic.. A women needs to know her body-type..love it and understand what suits it the best.. every body has imperfections.. and we need to learn the art to hide it...! ;P
That's what you call the" Art Of Dressing.."
Like if you have a really nice n curvy waist.. highlight it with a dress that defines your waist and highlights it.... For the bodytypes like me..that is if u r slightly on the chubbier side..always wear hour Glass Silhouette ..(tight from your waist )

Types of Silhouettes that can help you find that perfect Dress..

Ball Gown: A great dress for petite, full-figured, pear shaped, and thin women. This dress is usually very full and Cinderella-like. The dress flares out at the waist (example below).

Empire: A great dress for petite women who do not have a definite waistline. This style is not recommended for women who have an hour glass figure. This type of dress is where the waist line is raised above the natural waistline. In the pictures below the waistline is right below the bust. This is not unusual in empire  type silhouettes (example below).
A-line: This gown can be worn by all body shapes. This dress tends to be fitted at the top and then flares out towards the bottom, creating an A-shape (example below).

Princess: This gown can be worn by all body shapes. However, the princess cut can have panels that are in the dress. This style is very similar to the A-line silhouette, however, it has vertical panels that run from the neckline to the hem creating a clean lined look (example below).

Sheath: This dress is a great choice for thin women. This style is not recommended for short or full figured women. It tends to hug the womans figure and has a defined waist (example below).
Mermaid: This dress is a great dress for women who would like to display their curves. The dress is very fitting all the way down to the hips and then begins to flare out. This dress is not recommended for short figured women (example below).
