W for Woman Event !!

Now that I have become friends with some fellow Bloggers.. we just need a Reason( read Event :p ) to meet each other.. and This was one such occasion.. I can't believe I made it to this one.. as there was a wedding in the family , college and I had fever that was so bad my hands were shivering by the time I reached the "W for Woman " store..  But this time Srish and Akshita were missing.. and Missed ..


Okay.. so about the event..


" W for Woman " is a Brand known for its commitment Creating Fashion with Passion for the modern Indian woman.
and with their New Spring Summer 2012 Collection they have surely changed my perception of the brand..  I was surprised to see the dresses , Tunics, Pants, Skirts , Bags and Jeggings designed to cater to the taste of a Office goer to a College goer.. 


" W for Woman " on the Launch of their Spring Summer Collection invited Delhi Bloggers to their DLF, Promenade Store to Style the Best look.. and the Theme was to go "Western" and I went all Cocktail Party with My styling.. the Look was later put on the official  fb Page of the brand and was judge on the basis of the likes.. The style with maximum likes wins the " Best Spring Summer Style " and leading with the popular votes I was chosen as 'W through Social Fashionistas" winner..

Memory that I Cherish.. ^__^

I know its beyond LATE to share this with you all.. But..yes..!! Last year December 18th I was invited to IILM 's ( Lodhi Road , Delhi ) Annual IT Fest as one of the JUDGE for the Fashion Show, which is the most awaited Event of the whole Fest..  and immediately said "Yes" when I got a call from this college's organizing committee.. Such an HONOR..!!


 I was Honored to be a Part of the Judging Panel..!! Its a Memory that I Cherish..!! 


The feeling is beyond words when you are recognized for your work.. I am sure you people know what I am talking about.. *__*

Floral/Geenda Phool Prints..

I am not much of a writer.. and have nothing great to say today.. But a thing or two about this outfit..

I have seen a lot of Asymmetrical Shirts around ( as they say "Its the In Thing" this SS'12).. and I picked few for myself and this one is one of those..

Summer in Delhi is Sweaty , Harsh and  HOT!! and I am a Jeggings and Shirts Person.. and with This Trend of "Asymmetrical Shirts " Summers couldn't get better for Me..

I picked up this Shirt a few weeks ago.. and LOVED the small "Geenda Phool" prints all over this Shirt..which clubbed with my all time favorite Jegging .. and accessorized it with this Chunky necklace which I finally wore after a year of keeping it in my jewelry case.. and this latest addition to my Jewelry Collection  "Ear Cuff" that I  bought last month from Forever 21 is amazing.. during my recent visit to the store it was Sold Out..!! so I am Glad I bought it then.. and totally forgot about the Heels.. I bought these with my Blogger Friends-Komal K and Akshita Jain.. What I love the most about them is that they are so light , comfortable and Geometric.. Just LOVE them.. !!

JAFRA Bloggers Pamper Party..

 I know I am late for this post..I have been really busy lately with a wedding in the family and college Fashion show(yes!! finally I am a Fashion Designer) would love to share more about it.. But right now I have to tell you about this amazing event I attended  Last Week . Fellow Blogger Akshita from Colorific Hosted a Pamper Party Sponsored by JAFRA USA  where we were introduced to the brand and their range of Cosmetics and Fragrances  which they have introduced in India ..I am  too tired to write more about it just going to let the Pictures to the talking..


P.S.-I love their products(which were given to me for review ) and I am going to do a review of them soon.. but for now take a look..

Some of My favorite looks from Tommy Hilfiger's Goa Launch..

Tommy Hilfiger recently launched their another store in the most Exotic Beach destination in India, Goa..
And ..as I could spot a few best dressed people there.. I thought , I'd share it with my readers.. 

That's Bina Ramani.. I love how she Clubbed a Sheer white Kaftan Tunic with a white Maxi Skirt..flip-flops..and with those Coral earrings..She nailed the look.........the whole look is just so Goa ..easy..comfy and Boho..

I personally follow the rule-"When in doubt, wear White" and Dj Aqueel made a statement with the White Shirt and amazing music.. love his easy to go Goa look..

Sarah Jane Diaz, PERFECT is the word for this look.. I would personally style myself like that (now all i need.. those abs.. sigh!! ) 


Interestingly.. all of the people above have one thing in COMMON .......that's WHITE .. I think I have a serious crush on Color "White".. and  I know what color I need to wear for College tomorrow *__^ .. that reminds me of a Blog post I read by "Fashion Bombay" girls..--"The White Collar" read it HERE ( I personally loved it..its very useful and a Bliss for DIY lovers..)


P.S.-I know..I said that..I am going to stay off from the Blogsphere for a while.. I guess it didn't happen :p But I really need to complete my assignments.. I shall apply that rule from Tomorrow..

Blogger Confession- Neon Green Sari with a Twist..

Okay ..I have a honest confession here.. I have been dreaming about this whole Outfit since I saw a celebrity wearing a similar Sari at a recent event .. so this OOTD Post is inspired from that pic (not copied)

I am a big FAN of Saris .... and  My MOM is a typical Sikhni and ONLY wears Salwar suits to all the weddings and other occasions.. so there was no hope and source of wearing Sari at home .. But as a kid.. I enjoyed playing leads in almost all the Costume Dramas in school  because of my super amazingly, lustrous ,long curly locks and a Face that reminded my teachers of some Goddess or Princess evrytime they were casting for a role.. that's how I wore those Banarsis , Kangivarams , Patolas.. for school dramas.. (mind it .. all these saris were arranged by my teachers.. some of them even were their own.. coz my mom doesn't wear them)  and then obviously on Teacher's Day and Farewell..(again had to borrow from my cousin and auntie )

But just a few days ago ..In a raid of my Mom's closet I found this Sari ..which was a gift..and had been laying there for years.. and here it is now.. Draped on Me *__^ I wore this Neon Green Sari with a Twist.. I combined it with a Sheer Blue Shirt (as a Blouse) to Color-Block ,traditional Golden jewelry and a side waterfall braid..
