Waris Ahluwalia for VOGUE Italia

We have him again on the blog.. Yes, I am talking about, none other than, Waris Ahluwalia. God! this man has redefined desirability, sexy and hot in the fashion and its prejudice against Indians. I am not talking about equality here, because we have always been good, but lacked global recognition.

Here on the blog we have his feature from VOGUE Italia, looking HOT, standing tall in this black and white spread. Take a look..

In Burberry Prorsum SS'14 pre collection: Kangana Ranaut for VOGUE's January 2014 cover

Kangana Ranaut stares back at you in this sleek and stylish cover of VOGUE India, January 2014. In Burberry Prorsum SS'13 collection's white ensemble, she keeps it simple with styling. Hazel eyes, perfectly contoured checks, neutral pout and old school hollywood inspired hairdo finished her look.

In my opinion, a lot could have been done in-terms of styling. This cover does NO justice to the cover girl or the Burberry dress. We expect a lot better from VOGUE, specially this one being 2014's first cover, its almost disappointing. It takes me to VOGUE India's January 2013 cover, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, which still seems so fresh and has perfection written all over. Hope they do much better with their February cover.

Street Style: Devyani Kapoor

Today on the blog we have, Devyani Kapoor- currently the project manager with brandlogist, originally a journalist.
I remember meeting her for the first time, a couple of months ago at some brand's lookbook shoot( we both shot for the same, that's how we became acquainted ), and what caught my eye was her QuirkBox vest. She loves their clothes and says," I almost now own everything from quirkbox for their quirky prints that set a monotonous day on a roller coaster ride. Its about adding a hint of newness to your wardrobe."
Recently, when I came across this picture, I just had to feature her here. This picture is from her birthday party, where she chose wear this Quirkbox's minion dress. I love the way she has styled the whole look. It's effortless, laid back and chic at the same time.. that's what I love about some people, they just put anything together and look effortlessly chic and stylish, even when they are dressed down! and clearly she is one of them :-*

Outfit Details:

Minion dress from Quirkbox, Tan brogues from forever 21 and pink sweater from marks and Spencer.

'Stunning' is what I said when I saw this picture featuring American designer and actor  Waris Ahluwalia and artist and filmmaker Quentin Jones staring back at you, from GAP's new Holiday 2013 ad campaign, which came out early this month. This campaign is making news for all good reasons and this is my favorite picture from the whole campaign. REVIEW: The Four Fountains Spa

Hello Lovelies..

I spent my last Sunday in major self-indulgence at, The Four Fountains Spa, Malad W, Mumbai..
All I can say now is,'A day spent at spa, is a day spent well'. I have always claimed to be a no spa person, the idea of going to a spa to destress was alien to me, but all this changed last Sunday. City life is monotonous, gives you no time for yourself, I also happen to suffer from the same problem. But I guess I have a solution now.. and my solution is just a spa appointment away.

Lovely people at, The Four Fountains Spa not just helped me chose the right massage, but customized it according to my problem areas and requirements. I went for the beauty massage with Swedish pressure and a much needed head massage, followed by hot shower and a cup of green tea.. Bliss!

My Experience: I was asked to fill a questionnaire prior to my therapy which helps in deciding the therapy better. I have medium to high stress level and my concern was skin tanning, so my therapy was customized on the same basis. I took a combination of beauty massage( for my skin concern and tanning) with Swedish pressure( for my stress and lower-back issues) and a head massage( for hair-fall problem and stress). Masseur can increase or decrease massage pressure according to one's requirement and problem areas.  After the massage you can chose to either to relax a bit or go for a steam bath, but no steam room was available the time I went, but I definitely want to take steam later sometime. Tiny shower room, attached inside the therapy room, has all that you need; Things like towels, slippers, bath-robes, their in-house shower gel and shampoo.

About The Four Fountains Spa:
The Four Fountains Spa is India's first chain of affordable health spas. Set up by 3 management graduates from IIM Ahmedabad and SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, it aims to bring the health benefits of spa therapies within everyone's reach, with their wide range of therapies and oils to chose from.

Locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgoan, Bangaluru, Goa, Pune, Kolkatta.

Other Services
Choose from more than 20 Indian and international therapies for De-stressing, De-toxification, Immunity and Beauty. Therapies include massages, body polishes, body wraps and facials

My Verdict: I am definitely going back again, and yes, I recommend this to my readers.

Good- Affordable, Quality, serene ambiance , excellent service.

Not so Good: I wish they had more steam rooms.
