Guest Post: Neha's OOTD

2015 is going quite lazy for me as, its so cold these days in north.I feel like sipping tea and reading magazines all day long, basically I am being plain lazy. But Sun god came to my rescue and blessed us with a sunny day in between. So, I took the opportunity to take my favourite knit skirt out for a lunch date. There are few pieces in my wardrobe that help transform my basic cold daily wear into a fancy OOTD. Be it a plain cardigan, basic overcoat or a pair of heels.

My outfit in the following pictures completely define my sense of style at the moment. The bright yellow mustard cardigan is big yes for me on a sunny day to match with its vibes.I have teamed it up with a basic color skirt so this grey piece with white embroidered work is a must have in winters. Its so warm and well fitted, perfect to flaunt my curves even in the chilly days. I skipped stockings, my basic nude kitten heels were perfect for a lunch and later I threw a black overcoat which is so cozy and stylish. A white necklace, silver watch and a bracelet finished my look.

Some of My favorite looks from Tommy Hilfiger's Goa Launch..

Tommy Hilfiger recently launched their another store in the most Exotic Beach destination in India, Goa..
And ..as I could spot a few best dressed people there.. I thought , I'd share it with my readers..

That's Bina Ramani.. I love how she Clubbed a Sheer white Kaftan Tunic with a white Maxi Skirt..flip-flops..and with those Coral earrings..She nailed the look.........the whole look is just so Goa ..easy..comfy and Boho..

I personally follow the rule-"When in doubt, wear White" and Dj Aqueel made a statement with the White Shirt and amazing music.. love his easy to go Goa look..

Sarah Jane Diaz, PERFECT is the word for this look.. I would personally style myself like that (now all i need.. those abs.. sigh!! )

Interestingly.. all of the people above have one thing in COMMON .......that's WHITE .. I think I have a serious crush on Color "White".. and  I know what color I need to wear for College tomorrow *__^ .. that reminds me of a Blog post I read by "Fashion Bombay" girls..--"The White Collar" read it HERE ( I personally loved it..its very useful and a Bliss for DIY lovers..)

P.S.-I know..I said that..I am going to stay off from the Blogsphere for a while.. I guess it didn't happen :p But I really need to complete my assignments.. I shall apply that rule from Tomorrow..

Love..
Shaily

Closet Must haves..Confession by "Mutka" from "Eleganza"

Guest Blogger -"Mukta" From "Eleganza "shares her Wardrobe Secrets..

Closet Must-Haves..

Hey,
Now this article is basically for ones who have just stepped in fashion blogging. I, myself am very new to this world. So just wanted to share my experience and share the tips that I have learnt through the journey. According to me there are few must haves outfit posts for fashion bloggers. Few basic combinations that everyone should post about.
Style each basic combination the way you want to; add a belt, bag, heels or accessorize the way you want. Just be yourself and rock your blog.
Basic Blue and white combination :

 Little Black Dress :

Basic White Shirt :

Indian traditional Look :

                Red and Black :

Few tips that I would like to share
·         Step up with each new outfit: Try to make your every new outfit better than previous one.
·         Mix and match: Dig out your old clothes to make a new outfit. Be creative. Make your dress a tunic or vice versa. Turn your scarf in a belt. Make your skirt as your top or vice versa again. Trust me, there are many options.
·         Try something new: Do not stick to the patterns that you always wear. Try something new. you won't know if it looks good on you or not without giving it a try. So just do not limit yourself.
·         Be yourself: Do not copy anyone. Make your own style statement. That is very important. People are not stupid to follow you blindly.
·         Play with colours: Add colours to your closet as well as to your boring outfit. Adding a red to a blue and white look will switch your dull look into a glam one.
·         Add a bright scarf or bag or heels. Just play with colours the way you want.

Accessorize your outfit : Add cuffs, bangles, earrings, statement necklaces, heels, bag etc etc. Girls have so many options so just play with them. Dig out your moms closet for golden statement pieces , they are so in or dads for an oversized shirt. Just follow your heart.

Dayle from "Style File" Confesses her Experiment..

Confessionz From My Closet-"First Time I Took That Risk...."
                                Guest Blogger- Dayle Gabriella Pereira

This is one outfit that I believe was My riskiest - the sheer fabric, the red lips ; everything was first for Me..
I'm not very adventurous  when it comes to style , I play it safe . Blogging has changed that about Me - it made Me though myself out there and try out something NEW . I am slowly trying to get out of my comfort zone but this outfit will always be a favorite - its the first time I took that risk..
