September Favorites' 2014

Hello people!! I know it's a real long time and no words can describe the feeling of how I have missed writing here.. No promises of being regular this time, because I want to try and break my own poor record. Anyway, let's not go there. ( hides her face behind the cushion)

Today, I wanted  to share with ya'll my favorite products from last month. The ones that I loved and I'm continuing to use this month as well.. There you go..

 1. Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector

All the hype about this magic portion is right. Worth every penny and true to its name. loved this product throughout the month and still loving it. Works great solo, for that no-makeup look and works as a great primer too. I love dual purpose products and this is one such product. It fits my travel pouch and daily makeup bag easily.It's my can't leave the house without product. I say, Yay!! what is your review??

2. EOS Lip-Balm Honeydew

Hands-down.. One of the best lip balms I have ever used. The taste is so addictive.. I end up licking my own lips :p Keeps my lips well hydrated and moisturized. Thumbs up!!

3. MOROCCAN OIL

I LOVE this product and that's all that I have to say !!

4. THE BODY SHOP's Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream 

It's a new launch in the tea tree range from The Body Shop, so I had to, had to, had to try this.. :p I bought this during mid of September and I have been pretty much wearing it for all my outings and errands. The first impression review is kinda good, and I am sure a lotta you might differ, but I kinda liked it so far. It's my my-skin-but-better product. 

5. Diffuser

Those of you who don't know what a Diffuser is, it's an attachment used with hairdryers attached on the nozzle ( for more details please google). It's perfect to tame curly hair; enhances curls and keeps them frizz free. I am wearing my hair curly from a long time now and this is the best thing ever happened to my curls.

6.  VICTORIA'S SECRET Bombshell The Summer Edition'12

This has been my go to fragrance for summers, from last 2 seasons and I am still going back to this. 

7.  CARLTON LONDON Slippers 

The best thing that happened to fashion, this season.. Hands-down!! These giant slippers from Carlton London kept my feet comfy and shoe-bite free last month. It goes with out saying that I am also wearing them rite now *__^ love love love them!

Confession.. Keihl's India CCC launch..

This afternoon ..I attended the Kiehl's CCC Launch .. at Ambiance Mall,Vasant Kunj .. and met fellow bloggers Akshita from "Colorific "and Srish from "Style Fashion etc".
 ( also had a lillal haul at Forever21,where I bumped into Srish..n that's how we met ..)

Like I said.."Launch of Kiehl's CCC" and am sure a lot of you are wondering what this CCC is..??
Answer: Kiehl's CCC is short for Clearly Corrective Concentrate.. and CCC is one of the products from their soon to be launched skin care range in India .. which contains Activated C (ingredient derived from Vitamin C , known for its brightening properties), Peony Extract and White Birch Extract ..

This claims to correct dark spots, anti-ageing , break-outs , dullness and discoloration of skin that is caused due to UVA rays of sun ..

We were introduced and Briefed about the brand by the Brand Manager, Mr. Anurag Tyagi .He talked about company's History.. that this was initially a Pharmaceutical.. where different skin problems were treated..  The word Apothecary suggests the same in the name.. and was started in New York in the year 1851.. with experience of more that 100yrs they don't believe in fancy packaging .. At Kiehl's they believe in their product.............

the ambiance at Kiehl's is very Down-town New York.. this is a Unisex Brand keeping in mind the Male accompanying their Female counterparts should not feel odd ..


And they have a Brand Mascot .. Dr. Bones

We were asked to take the CCC Challenge (i.e use CCC for 28 days) after we got our skin examined.. My skin type is Combination..so is Srish's (like everything else we have in common *__^ )

We were given a bottle of CCC for the CCC Challenge .. and some testers of other recommended products for our skin-type.. and hair..

* The whole experience was good.. and now that I know a lot about this brand I can relate to them and understand them better.. and I am also going to post a review of CCC very soon..
