Holiday Greetings

Happy Holidays!

When we( Surbhi and I) were shooting for this post, I had very little idea that I'll share it now. And rite now seems like the perfect time, during this time of the year everyone is the festive mood, everyday is a celebration and there is a party at every nook and corner. But I don't need a party to celebrate, I can have just as much fun over a glass of wine with a friend. In these pictures I am just doing that.

This shoot wasn't planned, so the outfit is quiet simple, understated and relaxed. I wore this to a spa session, and just before heading out Surbhi and I did this impromptu shoot on her terrace. While I was sipping white wine, she was behind the lens, capturing moments. Isn't she an amazing photographer? I love her aesthetic sense and understanding of composition.

Anyway, are we in the mood to celebrate? Because I totally am..Do share your plans for this holiday season, I'd love to know *__*

My Day2 at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week SS'13

Day2 at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week for me was a mix of Punk and traditional .At Kanika Saluja's show I saw a lot of Punk. and finale show by Manish Malhotra was a complete contrast on the other hand..

These were My MOST FAVOURITE DESIGNERS of Day2, WIFW. Where 'Anaikka' by Kanikia Salauja 's Collection stood out because of it was Edgy and Punk , Manish Mlahotra's Collection showcased
the intricate and beautiful Chikankari embroideries by the women of Mizwan .

My Day1 at Wills India Fashion Week SS13

Those of you who follow Confessionz's FB know how crazy my last few days were.. 5 days of not stop Fashion Extravaganza  and now loads of pending posts ..that means lots of work to be done :(
Now that I have recovered from my Fashion Hangover, I shall get back to work..

Here is a picture diary of my Day1 at Wills India Fashion Week SS13

This is a glimpse of Gautam Gupta's SS13 Collection..which was all about digital prints .. LOVED His Blazers and Shorts which were interestingly paired with formal blouses.. His collection was inspired by "Chillies and Strawberries" . Neons stood out in this collection.. So is this a sign that we'll again see Neons this Spring Summer..??

Like I said.. NEONS.. again I bumped into some more..Kept looking for something fresh.. Interestingly Niki Mahajan had a lot to offer.. Her stall was like one stop shop of her collection through out the year.. I came across this new matte sequin embroidery that looked like traditional Phulkari and later saw a lot of it on the ramp.. ( you'll see that in the upcoming Blog posts )

Fashion Week is the Perfect time to make a statement and what better way than Accessorizing your Look.. I saw lots of color this time.. Its nice to see people experiment so much with their jewellery.. its not everybody's cup of tea..

These were some of my Favourite pieces of jewellery.. I wanted to steal what these two ladies were wearing.. and I Personally love what our Ms. Goodlooking ..Japna was wearing that day.. !! Emerald Green earrings..


I am desperately waiting for fresh to come up.. Neons ,Peplums , Tribals have been raided enough.. IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON.. Wait for my other blog post till you figure what is in store for you this Spring Summer.

This is some Craziness that Pupul , Me and Shrish were upto.. and really sweet of Aman..the photographer who managed to click us just before the show..


Like I said.. It was one big Fashion Extravaganza.. its difficult to some up everything into just one post.. so stay tuned for more on WIFW SS13 .
